License
DarkWire is free and open-source software.
AGPLv3
DarkWire is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. In short: you're free to use, study, modify, and redistribute DarkWire, including commercially, as long as any modified version — including one you only run as a network service — is made available under the same license, source code included.
AGPLv3 was chosen specifically because DarkWire depends on libsignal, which is itself AGPLv3 — a matching license avoids any ambiguity about how the two combine.
